First and foremost, I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my website. I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Having lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada as of April 2008 for two years, and now coming back to my hometown, I am STILL in the hot pursuit of trying to make my stamp in the 3D industry or 2D factions, whether it is working on feature films or creating video games. I am a 3D modeller and a 2D illustrator, and this is my story...

I’m a geek...And proud of it. Ever since I could put a crayon to paper, I loved art. There is no doubt about it. As I grew, I realized I’d rather do art than go to English class. So I would do what I could to take courses to further benefit my skills and work towards becoming a better artist. As high school was coming to an end and at a career fair at the school, I stumbled at a booth called Applied Multimedia Training Centres (AMTC). It was a technical school that taught graphic design, web design, and digital animation, which taught 2D and 3D. I went to AMTC for the digital animation after taking a year off and started in 2001. I learned the aspects of what a 2D animation consists of for 6 months and then focused on the technical aspects with Maya 4.0 and specialized in modeling and texturing.

After graduating, I stumbled - realizing there was little of an industry in Calgary - I became deterred from the 3D aspect of things. I started drawing more. I worked in malls just to get by and started to get to know my friend, Nick. He was doing independent comics on his own for quite some time and we ultimately collaborated and worked together on a few projects creating independent comics. In 2003 we co-founded Vicious Ambitious, a now well recognized independent comic label in Calgary. As it began to take off, our group started from 2 to 4 and we published our first anthology, ‘Round One’. From there, we lost 1, added 2 new members and produced ‘Round Two’. Lastly, adding another member to our crew, ‘Round Three’ was produced. The label still strives to tell stories till this day. Shortly after, I left the group in 2007, as my life took a turn; I then pursued to become an independent artist.

From there I started to fall in love again with 3D, loving Pixar’s features, for example, made me want to do it all over again. I wanted to be better as an artist and grow with my technical skills. In 2008 I moved out to the west coast and attended Vancouver Film School (VFS) and joined the 3D animation and visual effects program, specializing in modelling once again. Since graduating in April 2009, I am pushing to strive and become a part of this industry putting my stamp on being what I was destined to do - anything creative.
